Cosmos are such a beautiful flower - and one I will grow in my cut flower garden each and every year!
This seed pack is a mix of single bloom cosmos seed we grew in our Iowa garden last year.
You'll find white, pink and dark pink in here.
(We didn't keep the colors separate - we just put them in a big container!)

Quantity: Roughly 30 give or take
Note: This small seed sale is primarily being done by my 3 boys - Eddie, Harry and Ellis (12, 9 and 6)
They helped grow these flowers, and did all the packing so the numbers may be off.
We have been growing and saving these seeds for the past 4 years - if they grow for us they should grow for you!
Cosmos is a great addition to your cut flower garden, your cottage garden, or even in your containers!
The packaging is nothing special - but each pack was packed with love by my kiddos!

How to grow:
Direct Sow: Plant outside when the temperatures are above 60. Barely cover with soil and keep moist till they germinate. Thin to 9"-12" when the first true leaves appear.
Start inside: 4-6 weeks before your last frost. Barely cover with soil and keep moist until germinate. Plant outside (after hardening off) and plant 9-12 inches apart.
Pinch: you will get more blooms if you pinch your cosmos when they are 6-12" tall. Just pinch off the top of the plant! While this may seem scary, the plant will send out more branches and you will get loads more flowers!
Grow: Keep these babies deadheaded and they will continue to bloom for you until your frost in the fall!
Tip: If you cut these blooms before the flower opens up (while it's still in bloom form so you can see the colored petals but you can't see the middle yellow bit yet) and bring it into your home - the flower will last much longer in the vase for you!
